Storm Season Is Here - Fall River 02722

5/4/2020 (Permalink)

Spring is always a welcome season after the bitter cold and dangerous blizzards that each winter on the south coast brings. However, in the season between beach days and barbecues sitting under the shade, there are other threats that prove to be just as dangerous: storms. With each spring season, storm season hovers like a dark cloud.

As each storm brings new damage such as fallen trees, downed power lines, and roadside flooding, it can also expose the damage that was already there. Pre-existing and unseen household damage such as faulty cracks in the foundation, clogged gutters, leaks, and even a sump pump or drain that isn’t working properly can play a major role in comprising the integrity of your home or structure.

When it comes to storms, it’s best not to be caught off guard and prepare and prevent disasters from occurring. However, there will always be certain things outside of your control. Whether that comes from a fallen tree, electrical short circuits, or the countless other unpredictable disasters that storms bring.

Thankfully, SERVPRO of Fall River is well versed in responding to all kinds of disasters. Whether it be storm, fire, or water damage, our technicians are trained in dealing with the aftermath of storm season and making it “Like it never even happened.”
